  1. When you explained the term "beer goggles" You reminded me of a movie called Shallow Hal, starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Jack Black . He used to see women differently than they really are, as if he was wearing beer goggles. but instead he was hypnotized.

  2. "bug out" is a bit weird lol the only way I've heard that used is when you're talking about your eyes bulging out with shock, like.. "my eyes bugged out looking at that horrific dress!"

  3. Great idea for sure guys, this is awesome!

By the way, "ball" I believe is spelled "bawl" when meaning to cry or shout or yell. If "ball" is used as a verb, it would be like this: "he balled up the piece of paper and threw it in the recycle bin". On the other hand, I think it should be "The little girl started bawling when she stubbed her toe".
    Just my 2 cents 🙂
Keep up the good work and keep helping people learn English! It's very nice of you guys to do this.

  4. Your comment is worth more than two cents. 😉 You're absolutely right! We go with the flow of the language, and we made the video with "ball" because you will see this written as "ball" way more than you'll see it as "bawl." It's one of those things that shifts over time, like card shark/sharp. But be put up an annotation below in case anyone else was wondering if we made a mistake. Thanks again and have a good one!

  5. You're absolutely right! I've heard it both ways, but without the "a" is far more common.

You said that SOME of the slang terms were inaccurate. Did I miss something else? Thanks again! 🙂

  6. No problem. I have to point out that nowadays for the term ''bug out'' means butt out. Butt out means to go away, because someone is being nosy and interjecting/interrupting. But that is all I know 🙂

  7. On this point, I'll have to disagree. "Bug out" and "butt out" are two very different things. When you bug out, you escape quickly. You usually ask other people to butt out when you don't want them in your business. 🙂

  8. Ur magnificent….i didnt realize im too bookish thats why i dont get the jokes in movies…i thought im not that really good but when u teach all this idioms i kinda understand it now…thanks for ur help…do u have skype or tango?where i can add u And ask u s

  9. I´m only half way watching the video and I´m laughing!! haha
    THIS IS GREAT! haha
because this kind of "slang" words  are so important when we are learning a new lenguage! and it´s so cool that you are actually teaching it!
I like so much all the videos of this channel period!  🙂

  10. According to the dictionary a badass is a tough, uncompromising, or intimidating person. You use it to describe a strong confident man. It is kinda confusing because the first definition seems to be a negative description, whereas the second one describes someone in a positive way.Would you clarify it,please?

  11. I could be wrong and am not a native speaker (lived in Canada for years), but I have never heard or rather seen anywhere that someone "balled their eyes out" I have seen mentioning "bawling one's eyes out" though. I was trying to look it up on the net just now but it redirected me from 'ball' to 'bawl'.. Anyone?

  12. Discussion between two men:

A- Do you went to the party last night
    B- No I don't, I was sick
A- Man, last night party was so crazy!
B- Really, go ahead tell me !
A- The party start at 9 p.m. at Yohan's house. There were a lot of people and Sarah and her boyfriend was there. 🔔A bombshell came into the party she tried to steal Sarah's boyfriend
    B- No way!
A- Yes and Sarah and her had a 🔔beef
Sarah was like : "hey 🔔bitch, what the fuck are you doing ?"
And the bomshell replied: "We are just talking 🔔stop bitching out , and don't insult me because I didn't disrespect you"
Sarah said: "You didn't disrespect me, what kind of bitch you are, trying to seduce my boyfriend, 🔔you such a  bitch"
Sarah was now talking to his boyfriend and asked "your going stay here saying nothing"
And he replied "Come on we are just talking, please can you just leave us alone just for five minutes"
And then Sarah started to 🔔balled her eyes out and she left the party
B- Oh god, that so sad for her
A- Yes now they don't are together anymore. But anyway after that the party continue and everyone start drinking alcohol and do you remember Emily ?
B- Oh yes, she is shy and not talk a lot.
A- Yes that her, guess what she was wearing her 🔔beer goggles and started to kiss a ugly guy
B- You say Emily started to kiss a man !🔔Bollocks Emily is too shy to did that and she don't even drink alcohol.
A- I promise you man, and the best of the party was the 🔔beef between two men
B- Oh my god your party was a crazy one
A- A drunk man said to a guy:"Hey 🔔be my bitch and bring me back something to drink. The guy was so 🔔badass, he was tall, looked strong and wanted to fight.
He had repeated: "🔔Stop bitching about it come and fight me"
The drunk man was scared and 🔔bug out and everyone started to laughed

PS: You can 🔔bite my text if you want to memorize that slangs
