How To Remove Stains From Your Seats & Carpet! – Chemical Guys

– [Technician] Dead. – [camera operator] Dead? (wavering bass) – What’s goin on everybody? Thanks so much for tuning
in for today’s episode of Chemical Guys Detail Garage. It’s Monday but it’s also Veterans Day so first and foremost I wanna
thank all of our men and women that are serving in
our forces who gives us the opportunity to do
fun stuff like detailing. So with that being said
let’s jump into today’s video where I’m gonna show you guys a quick tip on how to revive your
fabric on your interior starting off with the seat
on this Toyota Corolla that belongs to a mechanic. And you see that it’s got a lot of grease that are kinda staining the fabric here. It’s supposed to be a nice bright gray But it’s got grease from
the jeans or the pants and all kinds of staining. So I’m gonna show you
how to quickly and easily remove it using Lightning Fast. Now this is a stain extractor
so basically what you do is spray it on the surface of
your vinyl, rubber, plastics. You can use it on your
wheels and things like that. And we’re gonna start here. Letting the foaming action
penetrate the fibers. And you don’t need an extractor to remove any of the saturation, just a clean micro-fiber towel will do. And I’m also going to
use one of our light duty bristle brushes attached to a drill. Spray some in here for
added cleaning power. And this is going to
basically take the action or help with the foaming action. But now we’re not going
to be scrubbing by hand we’re gonna let the drill do all the work and it’ll show you how quickly and easily it removes any of the staining here. But before you do any kind of
scrubbing you wanna make sure that you remove anything of the surface that could be abrasive or could stain or could fling it basically. So start by vacuuming it and
then move on to the process of scrubbing it using Lightning Fast and your favorite bristle
brush or your favorite brush. And then we’re going to do that. What I do is I’ll start off slow and then I’ll work my way into a higher speed and then we can start really scrubbing on some the grease and
grime that’s in there. Dead. – [camera operator] Dead? – [technician] Yeah. (gentle music) ♪ I see you ♪ ♪ You see me ♪ ♪ How pleasant ♪ ♪ This feeling ♪ – So now that we’re done
scrubbing we’re gonna take a clean micro-fiber towel
and start scrubbing away any of the excess or
wiping away the excess. And just like I said before we use yellow for interior jobs such as
cleaning up your fabric. And now we’re just goin to be wiping away of the spent product, any of the grease that was on the seat. See all that mess there? And the reason why we use yellow
is so that we can show you what’s actually being pulled
or extracted from the fabric. And this way you’re also
not cross contaminating your towels. But it’s been a huge
transformation already. You can see that a lot of the life has been brought back to the seat. We’ll take this off so you can
see that distinct line there. Years of grease have accumulated on this and have been trapped
inside of the fiber here. And you don’t need an
extractor, all you need to do is start by vacuuming
it, then scrubbing it using Lightning Fast and that removes any of the grease that was on the surface. And then you can either vacuum
it again to help dry it, or leave like this just park
it in the sun maybe with the windows down to help it
really dry and cure properly. And then you can apply your
favorite kind of protection such as Fabric Guard to
prevent any kind of future spills or stains from damaging
the finish of your fabric. So guys this is super easy to use. You can do it by hand or by a machine, using either cordless or a corded drill. And this is going to help
you scrub and agitate any way of the deep set in
stains, any kind of spills, any kind of grease and it
revives the nice soft feel as well as a brand new look
and it kinda helps remove any of those embedded odors. And now you can see it’s
just a big night and day difference from here to there. And that’s real easy
to do, you guys can use it on any color of fabric and it just really brings back that look and feel. So if you guys wanna learn
more with these products head over to our website If you like today’s video be
sure to give it a thumbs up and drop your comments down
below for future videos. Don’t forget to thank a veteran,
we’ll see you next time. ♪ The ashes ♪ ♪ Fall slowly ♪ ♪ As your voice ♪ ♪ Consoles me ♪ ♪ As the hours pass ♪ ♪ I will let you know ♪ ♪ That I need to ask ♪ ♪ Before I’m alone ♪ ♪ How it feels to rest ♪ ♪ On your patient lips ♪ ♪ To eternal bliss ♪ ♪ I’m so glad to know ♪ ♪ As the hours pass ♪ ♪ I will let you know ♪ ♪ That I need to ask ♪ ♪ Before I’m alone ♪ ♪ How it feels to rest ♪ ♪ On your patient lips ♪ ♪ To eternal bliss ♪ ♪ I’m so glad to know ♪ ♪ We’re swaying ♪ ♪ To drum beats ♪ ♪ In motion ♪ ♪ I’m feeling ♪ ♪ My patience ♪ ♪ Controlling ♪ ♪ The question ♪ ♪ I won’t speak ♪ ♪ We’re telling ♪ ♪ The stories ♪ ♪ Our laughter ♪ ♪ He knows me ♪ ♪ We’re leaving ♪ ♪ We’re talking ♪ ♪ You’re closer ♪ ♪ It’s calming ♪ ♪ As the hours pass ♪ ♪ I will let you know ♪ ♪ That I need to ask ♪ ♪ Before I’m alone ♪ ♪ How it feels to rest ♪ ♪ On your patient lips ♪ ♪ To eternal bliss ♪ ♪ I’m so glad to know ♪ ♪ As the hours pass ♪ ♪ I will let you know ♪ (upbeat music)

  1. At the beginning of the summer I started a side gig car detailing. At the end of the summer it took off. I'd like to PERSONALLY THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! IVE DONE OVER 50 VEHICLES AND COULDNT OF DONE IT WITHOUT YOUR PRODUCTS and VIDEOS!

  2. What is the name of the product that I can use after applying this product to my seats in my carpet that will protect it from staining again in the past I have used Scotchgard that you spray in your house for the carpet it doesn’t seem to work that well on my seats .

  3. @ChemicalGuys, u know it’s funny that couple days ago I looked my seats of my 2015 Scion xB, and they started to look like crap. Than u brought this clip on how to use this single product, and a light brush, a cord or cordless drill, and a yellow microfiber. And that’s it. Thank u very much for this.

How long should I wait before I begin to wiped them up? After spray? And would they work on the room of the car for tough spots?

  4. I Was Thinking of Using Fabric Clean And A Nifty Brush, Should I Try it first before using the Lightning Fast? On My Carpet Floor Mats?…

  5. great video again Nick..any recommendations 4 car soap that doesn't have silicone or gloss enchanters?just straight cleaning power.b well

  6. Hi Nick, I have a Honda Accord Sport 2013, I see you have two products to clean the seat, The Fabric Clean and Lightning Fast Stain, Which one do you recommend.

  7. Looks great and Works wonderfully. However, I have a 1983 Makita right angle drill that works Perfectly with that brush. As always thanks for all the goodies.

  8. Fantastic video, thanks a lot!
Please advise if Chemical Guys SPI_103_16 Sprayable Leather Cleaner and Conditioner can be use on V-Tex leatherette ?

  9. Detailing is philosophically peaceful; it's like meditating in the groves and meadows. This was another peaceful, interesting and enlightening experience! Thanks so much, Chemical Guys!!! 🤗😀🤩❤👍😍😊😚

  10. Chemical Guys, 2014 Silverado had the back cab brake light gasket wear out & let water into the interior causing a black/grey water stain on the inside. With the headliner being a bit more fragile then seats would this method work? Is there better options on cleaning? Any input would be great & thanks for videos👍 Tim
