How to Use Different Chemicals for DIY Pest Control – The Professional Way | ePestSolutions

Hi, Im Ricky from ePestSolutions. Were going to make some of our chemicals
here with the water in the one gallon sprayer. For some of our most chemicals, we have the
tip and measure such as this and we’ll have little measurements for however much you need. For the squeeze and pour, remove the cap,
squeeze it up to the desired amount that you’re looking for and you pour it into the one gallon
sprayer. Now, we’re going to mix our solution here. Undo the pressure cap and Im going to pour
in half the water. Take your solution (inaudible). Remove the cap. Pour your desired amount into the gallon sprayer. Agitate it a bit. Put the remainder of the water into the one
gallon sprayer. Replace the pressure cap and
lock it in. It’s ready to go. Now we’re going to show you how to do a perimeter
application. Now that we’ve added the water and concentrate
to the gallon sprayer, we’re going to agitate it. Make sure you agitate it nice and good and
then set it on the ground. Give it a couple pumps. Now, we’re going to show you some entry points
areas like door frames and other areas like that are high entry points for unwanted insects
or along or along these were the siding meets the ground here so you just spray along here.

  1. For anyone not familiar with pesticides it is a good idea to wear eye and respiratory protection as well as gloves, especially while mixing and then spraying the pesticide. Be careful when spraying overhead, if a breeze picks up and you have spray drift you could end up covered in the pesticide.
