Shoulder Horizontal Range of Motion – Post-stroke Exercise

(relaxing music) – This exercise is great for
maintaining range of motion of the shoulder and to also
facilitate rolling over in bed. To perform this exercise,
you’re gonna lay on your back, on a firm surface, with your affected arm and you’re gonna interlace
it with your unaffected arm. From here, you’re going
to reach across your body, as far as you can, giving assistance with
your unaffected arm, as much as needed. (relaxing music) Repeat this exercise 15 to 20 times. Do not perform this exercise
into a painful range of motion. Limit the range of motion
if it becomes painful. (relaxing music)
